earthquake in manila
was in panic-mode a while ago. had 4 magnitude EQ all over the metro at around 2pm today. i was on OC when i got msgs from pasay, makati and gateway asking me “did u feel that?” i said “feel what?” then i heard the slight shaking of the blinds against sa glass window. everybody in the floor stood up from their cubes (wrong people – you should hide under the desk geesh). good think it only lasted a few sec. it stopped while i was midway from sitting to standing up on my way to making usi to what the rest of the peeps were doin. so nyways i immediately took it on mail and sent spams across our unit giving tips and reminded the folks on what we learned on our evacuation training. got bombarded with response that ranges from “panic ka gurl?” to “our fire exit is locked” to “call the house and check on kb!”.
good thing there were no aftershocks and according to the news that quake has no potential to cause tsunami’s thank God.
i better prepare some sort of an emergency plan for the home, a bag for kb we can grab in an instant and yes kb grab kb away from it must not forget him. and money.. and the dogs, yes the dogs must be saved also. im on the of paranoia guess im just scared of all these natural disasters happening all over.
